COURSE OBJECTIVES
1)To equip the trainee with capabilities required for structural design of buildings.
2)To impart training to the trainee to prepare them for evaluating and design of high rise buildings.
Course Content:
This course covers following topics:
1)Role of a Structural Engineer in construction industry
2)Introduction to Design Software
3)Types of Structural systems used in high rise buildings
4)Study of Geotechnical report
5)Introduction to MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) drawings
6)Earthquake behaviour of buildings Wind Tunnel analysis
ELIGIBILITY : Faculty of AICTE recognized engineering colleges & polytechnics.
TRANSPORT, BOARDING & LODGING
Participants are entitled for bus/Sleeper class/3AC railway fare to and fro by the shortest route from participant’s Institute to SGGSIE&T, Vishnupuri, Nanded. Outstation participants will be provided free of cost boarding and lodging in the institute hostel. Since accommodation is limited, family members of participants cannot be accommodated.
REGISTRATION
There is no registration fee for the course. All interested candidates are required to enclose a Demand Draft (Only DD acceptable) of Rs. 1000/-in the name of “Director, SGGSIE&T, Vishnupuri, Nanded”. The above Demand Draft will be refunded to the not selected candidates and also to the selected participant only if he or she attends the full course. In case the selected participant fails to attend the full course, the above amount will be forfeited and no reimbursement and certificate shall be given. The candidate should complete the enclosed registration form and send by speed post or courier to the coordinator along with the DD. Confirmation of eligible candidates will be on first come first serve basis up to a maximum of 20 candidates. The completed registration forms along with the Demand Draft should reach to the coordinator on or before 20th May 2019.
