COURSE OBJECTIVES
- To create awareness amongst the participants about fundamentals and scope of different techniques in waste to energy.
- To promote research area in energy harvesting and generation from waste.
KEY FEATURES OF COURSE
- Bio electrochemical systems and electrochemical techniques: fundamental, significance, different aspects and limitations.
- Waste to electricity: Fundamentals and scope of different techniques.
- Decentralized waste water treatment system in that conversion of waste to bio-gas using waste water and solid waste, fundamentals scope , reuse and recycling of waste.
- Production of gaseous and liquid fuels: gasification followed by liquefaction, and production of liquid fuels from waste plastics by pyrolysis.
- Power management system.
- Plant / industry visit An important aspect of this course will be the coverage of sustainability issues associated with these waste to energy solutions.
ELIGIBILITY
Faculty members of degree level engineering colleges & polytechnics recognized by AICTE, working in any area of Science or Engineering are eligible to attend this course.
TRANSPORT, BOARDING & LODGING
Participants are entitled for bus / second class (Sleeper class) / III AC railway fare to and fro by the shortest route from Participant’s institute to SGGSIE&T, Vishnupuri, Nanded. Local participants can avail free bus transportation of Institute. Outstation participants will be provided free of cost boarding and lodging in the institute hostel. Since accommodation is limited, family members of participants cannot be accommodated.
REGISTRATION
There is no registration fee for the course. All interested candidates are required to enclose a Demand Draft of Rs.1000/- in the name of “Director, SGGSIE&T, Vishnupuri, Nanded”. The above Demand Draft will be refunded to the not selected candidates and also to the selected participant if he or she attend the course. In case of selected participant does not attend the course, the above amount will be forfeited. Candidate should complete the enclosed registration form and send by speed post or courier to the coordinator along with the DD. Confirmation of eligible candidates will be on first come first serve basis up to a maximum of 30 candidates. The completed registration forms along with the Demand Draft should reach to the coordinator on or before 27th June, 2019.
